Setting up Alexa on your QC35II Headphones

1. Turn on your QC35 II headphones and download the Bose Connect App

You will be guided through several on-screen prompts. Make sure the headphones are turned on and you are within range of your device.

2. Customize your Action Button control

Once your device shows up on the screen, drag down to connect. You can then set your preferred language and nickname your headphones.

Once your headphones are connected, you’re ready to set up Alexa on your device. First, you’ll need to set Alexa as your Action Button control.

Navigate to the settings menu (gear icon on the top-right) in the Bose Connect app. (your device will need to be connected in order for this icon to appear.

Tap Action Button.

Select Alexa and then tap “go to Alexa Settings”.

If you don’t already have the Alexa app installed on your device, you’ll be brought to the app store to download. Otherwise, you’ll automatically be directed to the Alexa app.

3. Set up Alexa

In order to set up Alexa on your headphones, you will need to have an Amazon account. Having Prime membership will give you access to more features, but a free Amazon account will work as well. Don’t have an Amazon account yet? Sign up here.

Sign in to your Amazon account through the Alexa app.

Navigate to the “Devices” page in the app. (icon on the lower-right).

Tap the icon on the top-right and select “Add Device”.

Choose “Headphones” in the list that appears.

Enable location services by clicking “Allow” on the following screen.

Once your headphones appear on the next screen, click “Set Up”.

You’re now ready to enjoy Alexa on your new QC35 II. Simply tap the Action Button on your headphones and ask Alexa whatever you need.
